The Value Added Course (VAC) conducted at PMS College of Dental Science and Research was designed to enhance students’ academic, clinical, and professional competencies beyond the regular university curriculum. The program introduced interdisciplinary and skill-based topics such as communication skills, practice management, biomedical data analysis, artificial intelligence in dentistry, infection control, and research methodology. Sessions were conducted through interactive lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on activities by experienced faculty and guest experts. The course provided students with practical exposure, encouraged critical thinking, and fostered ethical and evidence-based clinical practice. By bridging the gap between theory and real-world application, the VAC equipped students with confidence and competence to meet the evolving demands of modern dental practice and holistic patient care.
