Our Chairman Dr P.S Thaha is an educationalist, visionary and a successful entrepreneur. A native of Trivandrum, Dr. P. S Thaha was born in the year 1951. He is a proud alumnus of Government Dental College, Trivandrum and has pursued his Post Graduation in Periodontics and Oral Implantogy. He has also acquired acme professional excellence through extensive training in U.S, U.K, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore and Middle East.
Dr.P.S.Thaha is making waves as the dynamic Managing Director of Thaha Medical Group, Abu Dhabi and Managing Director of Super Speciality Dental Centre, Trivandrum.
A former Assistant Professor at his alma mater Government Dental College, Trivandrum, he is a life time member of the Indian Dental Association, the Asian Academy of Implant Dentistry, the Indian Institute of Oral Implantology and the Indian Society of Periodontics. He was also nominated by the Government of Kerala as a member of NORKA ROOTS & was previously a member of the Dental Council of India.
For his outstanding contributions to Dentistry the Government of Kerala honored Dr.Thaha by presenting the prestigious “Denta Shrestha award” on March 6th 2015. He is the first recipient of this epitome of excellence in Dentistry. His dedication to the field of Dentistry has rightfully bestowed him with the Dentists Excellence Award by the Indian Dentists Research and Review in 2002, Best Professional award of NRI Welfare Society and Best Social Welfare Award by the Embassy of India, Abu Dhabi, for his dedicated and outstanding service to the community as an oral health care professional and a responsible member of society.
For his immeasurable academic contributions and commitment, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Honourable Chief Minister of Kerala in 2022 at the Platinum Jubilee Celebration of Government Medical College, Trivandrum , as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award from Saveetha University, Chennai.
The C.H Centre Abu Dhabi has also selected him for the Health Excellence award for his meritorious service in the field of health in India and the Middle East. Dr.Thaha’s innovations and urge for professional excellence has brought the most modern Dental treatment facilities like Esthetic Dentistry, Laser Dentistry, Oral Implantology and 3D Printing in the PMS College of Dental Science & Research.
Dr. P S Thaha is instrumental in establishing this premier dental institution in the state of Kerala, the first NAAC Accredited Health Educational institution in the state of Kerala, India. This is symbolic of his dedication and perseverance to create the gold standard in Dental Education and Patient Care.
