The department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery acts as a bridge between medicine and dentistry. The department provides full scope of resident training with an emphasis on the core principles as well as experience and training in the broader and advanced aspects of surgery. The department is rich with an amalgamation of experienced, efficient and sincere faculty with immense energy and enthusiasm.

The undergraduate course enables a student to directly treat a patient with specialized training in diagnosing and managing various procedures such as extractions, transalveolar extractions, alveoloplasty, incision and drainage and various other simple minor surgical procedures.

The Post graduate degree is designed to meet the requirement to match national and international standards that indulge didactic academic and clinical exposure to recognize and manage maxillofacial trauma, pathologies and to develop skills in facial correction surgeries, TMJ disorders, orthognathic surgeries, cancer surgeries, cleft lip and palate repair surgery.

The advanced surgical training enables the student to be specialized in navigation surgery, 3D surgical planning, facial cosmetic procedures, plastic and reconstructive procedures.
