Mentoring is a partnership between Mentor and Mentee. “Mentor Mentee” scheme is for continuous and holistic development of the students. PMS College of Dental Science and Research introduced this scheme with a view to nurture the educational and personal growth of students by periodic interaction. Mentors provide their guidance, experience and expertise in promoting their mentees professionally and personally, through interpersonal interactions. Holistic assessment of the learners’ performance, identification of slow learners and taking healthy remedial measures, identifying and promoting the extracurricular activities are considered to be the key roles of a mentor. Mentor mentee scheme definitely results in academic and personal excellence of our students. Timely mentor mentee meetings ensure academic enrichment of the students.
