Students are constantly taken on camps to various Anganwadis and schools under the guidance of the Department of Community Dentistry where the students themselves conduct Health education talks and Seminars for the general public.
There exists a voluntary blood donation group in the college.
Students conducted a charity drive for Inmates of Bethany Ashramam, Nedumangad collecting close to 30000 rupees along with providing them new clothes etc.
Students Union
PMS College of Dental Science and Research have a well-established students union, which is elected annually through a democratic process.
The aims and objectives of the students union are:
- to promote opportunities for the development of character, leadership, efficiency, knowledge and spirit of service among students
- to organize debates, seminars, touring parties and such other functions
- to encourage sports, arts and other extra-curricular activities, social or recreational
- to train the students of the College in the duties, responsibilities and rights of citizenship
- to conduct endowment lectures, seminars and organize other academic activities
- to foster and promote good relationship among the students
