PMS Family celebrated the “ONAM FESTIVAL” in a most fitting manner with all its Din & Bustle, as usual with the participation of one and all on 11th September 2013.

Dr. Sauda Thaha , Member of Trustee, formerly inaugurated the proceedings followed by variety and cultural entertainments. Dances and Songs were presented by Students and Teaching & Non teaching staff during the occasion. This included “Thiruvathira kali”, a traditional Onam Dance. Pulikali and blessings by MAVELI THAMBURAN, based on the legend on ONAM, were the highlights. The Singarimelam (Traditional Drums playing) by external professionals kept up the festive moods of every one.

Competitions were held in traditional payasam ( Gheer) making, Athappokkalam, Tug of war and prizes were distributed.
The celebrations ended with a delicious “ONAM SADYA” (Feast).
